The Sioux County Annual Sunday School convention meets in Rock Valley on April 30 and May 1 with speakers Rev Geo E Fulcomer of Alton Rev Geo H Douwstra Hospers and Attorney Walhof Rock Valley plus Rev H Colenbrander and County Supt Chas Tye. Sessions start Wednesday at the Methodist Church and continue Thursday at the Reformed Church. Also note land price talk as John Westra of Sheldon resold a Lanham farm for 700 per acre after buying at 550 público.

Council Takes First Step For Sewerage
A Boyden town hall meeting heard Mr. Guy E. Smith of the Mid-West Improvement Co outline sanitary sewerage benefits and cost. The sewer would cost about 1 per foot with a disposal plant at 6000 to 7000 funded by a 20 year tax. residents favored sewerage and the council will hire an engineer to draft plans.

Property sales and moves tied to Sioux City area
Mr and Mrs Carl Tott completed Tuesday and Wednesday business in Sioux City. The Martin Trigg family sold their property to Mrs A A Verrips, with possession soon. The Trigg family plans a move to Pipestone for Martin's new position. Verrips vacated the Methodist parsonage, which George Steven now rents. Seventeen German helmets claimed as parade items for Paris were shipped to Sioux County and displayed at the Farmers Savings Bank. The helmets, new and leather, bear German army insignias. Paris trip remains a dream.
