Four Weather Shifts Stir Renwick Residents
In Renwick last week temperatures plunged to 25 below then rose to 49 above Sunday. Residents reported rapid thawing and streets surprisingly passable. The town owes thanks to the mayor and council for summer street resurfacing and reminds property owners to contact the town clerk about surface work at their expense. Also note the Farmers Co op annual dinner and a fashion show for women at Renwick school after 8:00.

Mrs Henry Kraft was a patient at Lutheran Hospital Fort Dodge from Thursday to Saturday with a sinus and thyroid infection. Visitors included Vernon White Mallard Fred Kraft Eagle Grove and Frank Steffen. W H Helmke attended Elmer Willy’s 25th anniversary at Vincent. Rose Hefty dined with Fred Kluss Fenton and visited Maurice Billsborough Titonka. Several families from LuVerne Thor and Algona hosted guests. Bertha Reed visited J L Fisher. Hiram Thompson Danny Humboldt and Edwin Wanken families joined Sunday events. Rose Hefty and Elizabeth Klassi dined with C Maurer in Algona while they stay in Mary Sorenson’s Rooming House during her California visit.
