Hotchkiss man pleads guilty to taxi driver killing

Shannon Dean Halsey of Hotchkiss pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the 1996 shooting death of freelance taxi driver Letcher Jackson. Judge John Hutchison gave the maximum 15 year sentence with at least three years to serve before eligible release.
