Gospel music star Phil Cross and Poet Voices will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Lovers Leap Baptist Church in Ansted. Cross recently won Songwriter of the Year from the Southern Gospel Music Association. He wrote songs such as Champion of Love Wedding Music When I Get Carried Away Jesus Built a Bridge. The group’s latest release I Am Redeemed tops gospel charts. An offering will be collected to cover the concert costs.
