Robbery suspect faces new charges in West Virginia case
Shawn Michael Williams of Shady Spring, already indicted on two counts of aggravated bank robbery for the Beaver First State Bank and Trust heist, faces a new witness intimidation charge after allegedly threatening Sheriff’s Deputy Jim Bare while awaiting home confinement review. Webb, a landscaping worker, identified Williams from a photo lineup after Williams allegedly approached him at Beckley Newspapers, prompting Williams to deny guilt as Judge Hutchison ordered further consideration of home confinement while scheduling the aggravated robbery trial for June 30.
