The battered body of Miss Sophie Singer aged 30 from Baltimore was found in a Chicago flat once occupied by G D Conway his wife and her fiancé WR Warthen. Warthen discovered the body after returning home and neighbors helped batter down the door. The Conways fled and police search them. Singer had about 1000 dollars. robbery is suspected.
