Labor Commissioner C P Neil announced one more attempt to settle the dispute between the Harri man lines and its conductors and trainmen after several days of failure to reach an agreement in Houston.
Ten thousand dollars in prizes were awarded by the Texas Industrial Congress in Dallas. Charles A Dogs of Rockdale Milam county won the first prize of 1000 in Class A, beating his father Georima Dogs of Rockdale who took the 500 second prize.
