A large blaze in Cincinnati destroyed three leading establishments and over 100 offices, causing losses exceeding $600,000. The Gibson hotel Bendigs Lothmann department store W L Douglass Shoe store and Missouri Pacific railway offices burned, while the Union Trust Co building suffered partial floor cuts in its top ten stories.
Local forecast shows tonight clear and very cold with freezing temperatures. Thursday is expected to be fair and warmer with light winds.
