Rites Completed For Mrs Persinger
Funeral arrangements have been completed for Nellie Bly Persinger. The service is set for 2 p m Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gilmer H Cross officiating. Mrs Persinger died at the local hospital at 7 25 a m Wednesday after a two week illness. She was born in Blue Spring Run Virginia on April 8 1886 and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband F B Persinger of Oak Hill a brother J W Persinger of Beckley two sisters Mrs Bamma Ricketts Covington Virginia and Mrs Betty Rose Blue Spring Run and two children Mrs Maiden Simmons Oak Hill and Dewey Persinger Covington.
