Bradley Lions Club backs community recreation building plan
The Bradley Lions Club voted to erect a community recreation building beside the roadside park along W.Va. 21 on the Beckley approach to Bradley. Ken Larabee said the plan follows Maxwell Hill Country Life Group’s model. Judge Harry L. McCreery stressed recreation and meeting spaces to curb juvenile delinquency, outlining 11 helpful points for parents. The group also noted near completion of the roadside park and welcomed five new members. The club prepares for the Zone meeting in Mount Hope May 10 with attendees from Bradley and neighboring clubs.
