Southern Board of Approved Basketball Officials under fire
The Southern Board faces criticism after a Saturday vote to push HSAA officiating registration. The move, backed by Herman Hoskins and allied groups, aims to require $2 fees for HSAA officials while offering benefits such as rule books clinics and publications. Critics warn the action mirrors past attempts to control state athletic governance and may backfire.
