Two pieces were bid at 42 000 another at 17 500 and the remainder at 123 000. Bids must be confirmed before becoming legal. Sealed bid deadline passed Monday after months of hearings.

Y Swim Party Set Saturday at Beckley Pool
The Concord College pool will be open 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday for a Beckley area YMCA swim party. A minimum of 15 swimmers is required and reservations are via Beckley Newspapers switchboard Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. E. J. Hodel and Frederick W. Meyer chair the YMCA. Participants share the $15 pool charge with costs based on attendance. Most swimmers provide their own transportation. a few may be car pooled.
