Reapportionment Bill Faces Court Review in West Virginia

William R. Barrett aged 42 was named UPI regional executive for Kentucky and southern West Virginia replacing the previous appointee. Barrett a Charleston West Virginia native and former Beckley resident has led UPI Maryland Delaware and the District of Columbia since March 1961. He joins John S. Langdon whose duties expand to Maryland Delaware and DC. Barrett began with UPI Charleston in 1955 after 14 years in paper radio and TV work at Beckley Post-Herald Raleigh Register and WJLS. He and his wife Melba will live in Louisville.
