Mrs William Laird of Frank Street is a patient at University Hospital Morgantown after suffering a heart attack at home Friday. Miss Sally Shaw daughter of Mrs E O McClure Maple Ave a speech therapist in Bay County Schools Florida attended the Mardi Gras in New Orleans with friends last week and was formerly employed by the Fayette County Board of Education.

Reed Green twenty waived to the Wyoming County grand jury after a preliminary hearing on a charge of assault with attempt to rape. He was arrested at his Allen Junction home and posted a $3,000 bond after the hearing before Magistrate W P Wilson.
