1921 Club Razed By Fire
The 1921 Club in Daniels was completely destroyed by a morning fire of undetermined origin. A resident saw the upstairs burning around 11:15 a.m. The Kizer couple operated the club and lived upstairs, losing belongings. Beaver Volunteer Fire Department battled the blaze as winds risked spread. Owner Archie Ellenbogen of Beckley owned the building and could not be reached for an estimate.
