Ball proposes ban on foremen unionization tied to funding bill
Senator Ball outlines a proviso to the Federal Security Supply Bill to bar National Labor Relations Board funds from cases involving supervisory employees after July 1. He says the move would delay foremen organizing while Congress decides future action, aligning with parts of Case Bill vetoes. The measure could become the first separate section of the vetoed bill to reach President Truman if adopted by the Senate and House.
