Mrs Barbara Black 25 Charleston formerly of Blue Pennant was admitted to Charleston Memorial Hospital after her car left State Route 3 and struck a power pole. She suffered a back injury and head and facial cuts. Her condition was listed as fair. She was en route to Blue Pennant to visit her parents Mr and Mrs Guy Hendricks. Damage was estimated at 500 dollars.

Three Youths Lodged In Jail In Fayetteville

Two workmen were admitted to Wyoming General Hospital after industrial incidents. James W. Rhoades, 52, of Wyco, fell about 30 feet from a nine tipple under construction and underwent X rays for possible leg and back injuries. Delphia Hopson, free on bond, attempted to hide hack-saw blades in an umbrella as she entered Boone County jail. Sheriff’s officers detained her after a tip and a felony warrant sworn by the jailer. The incident followed indictments of Hopson and four others for robbery.
