Carnations violets gardenias and tuberous rooted begonias absorb water through their petals. You can dunk them or spray them. Do not crowd flowers into a container and handle them as little as possible. If laying flowers on a table let the heads extend over the edge.

Mr and Mrs Charles Harvey of 110 Bib L Ave and their daughter Beverly traveled to Arlington Virginia on Saturday. Beverly Harvey will reside with Miss Sue Moore daughter of Mrs Garnett Moore of Beckley. Mrs Moore joined the Harveyes on the trip to visit her daughter who works as a dental hygienist in Arlington.
