Artie L. Toney 52 of Dothan died at 11 43 p m Saturday from self inflected gunshot wounds in front of his home. Funeral planned Tuesday at Tyree Funeral Home chapel with burial in Peters Cemetery Dothan. Former Fayette Countian Alex R. Stout died at his home after a year of illness. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at Liberty, with the Armstrong Funeral Home handling arrangements. Survivors include two sons, Charles and Conley, and two daughters, Lillie Ussery and Billie Dingman, plus five grandchildren. He had previously worked in Dayton and served in the Air Force.

Effort To Locate Sen For Funeral Proves Fruitless
Dorothy (ANS) Efforts to contact Airman Jerry Dominion, Dorothy, formerly stationed at the Air Force Base in Albuquerque New Mexico, have proven fruitless. The youth returned to his base only a week ago after spending the holidays with his parents at Dorothy and was scheduled to leave New Mexico today for Sacramento California en route overseas. His father Herman Dominion 41 died about 9 a.m. Friday from a heart attack shortly after leaving his home and arriving at a tavern at Dorothy about 200 yards away. He had returned from the Veterans Hospital in Beckley last week where he was treated for a broken foot suffered on Dec 28. Dominion had been suffering from a heart condition for several years.

COLCORD ANS Jesse Wright, hospitalized for two weeks at Kanawha Valley Hospital Charleston, was able to return to his Colcord home Friday. Doctors warned another attack could come, but no origin found. His daughter Aldine, a student nurse, also left hospital after breaking her left ankle during a jump from a bunk bed and came home for the weekend.

Two Garten juveniles were arrested in Fayette Sunday night and charged with breaking and entering Cot camp's Store Garten early Saturday morning. Arresting officers Sheriff Deputies Pete Withrow and Earl Dempsey said merchandise stolen valued at almost 300 dollars included a rifle lighter watches electric shaver bells watch hands and knives. Most of the stolen property was recovered under a cliff near Ramsey Sunday night. They will appear before Judge Charlies L Garvin Jr.
