Funeral Tuesday For Stanaford Company Doctor
Funeral services for Dr. W. C Mays 72 longtime Stanaford company doctor will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at his residence on the Stanaford Road with Rev. C Glen Eastwood and Rev A H Wil. The native Beckley born physician died Sunday night reportedly from a pulmonary hemorrhage after feeling ill he asked his wife to call an ambulance then collapsed while outside. He was survived by his wife Marie Anderson Mays and several cousins. Pallbearers are named and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
