Mt Hope Lions Club members visited the West Virginia Home for Aged and Infirm Negro Men and Women to distribute individually wrapped gifts including tobacco candy and fruit to all 86 residents. Arthur Biggs of Quinwood is jailed in Summers County on open charge after the Christmas Eve stabbing death of his brother-in-law Arthur Ray Keaton in Hinton. Keaton, 22, died from a single stab wound near Fitzgerald store on Summers Street around 9 p.m. He served in the U S Army until 1951 and is survived by his parents, a brother in the U S Air Force, and three sisters, all of Hinton.
