Beholding Life’s Struggles and Small Town Anecdotes
A Raleigh County town shares a string of human moments from street aid to local humor. A legless man on the street receives a penny from a teenage girl. A Michigan visitor visits Beckley and recalls miners. A campout tale ends with a stolen tent and BB gun. A meter note shows courtesy, and homecoming memories echo December 1907. A Beckley pastor’s plea for unity ends with a humorous misdirection at a church social.
