Enos Sobolewski 63, a Carlisle miner and United Mine Workers Local 6047 member, died after a short illness in a Beckley hospital. Funeral services set for Monday at 2 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home chapel in Oak Hill with interment in Highlawn Memorial Cemetery. Born in Russia, he worked at the Carlisle mine of the New River Company and had no survivors.
