Man Wanted as Mutilator Held and Questioned
Mandeville Zenge a 26 year old Canton Missouri carpenter sought in the mutilation murder of Dr Walter J Bauer was seized today in a West Side garage. Four state police had sought him since the physician was found dying early Wednesday. The inquest heard Bauer’s widow say she had been engaged to Zenge seven years before marrying Bauer. A later note reported Zenge planned to jump into a lake and he was said to be miserable over losing Louise Bauer.

State Takes 11 Prisoners From Jail to Prison
