Hogs see lower summer prices for last fall's litters and spring pig prices near supports. Beef herds rebuild, limiting slaughter and supporting prices. Poultry trends lower. eggs look solid later. Sweet Potato Growing Tips From Dean Halliday
Sweet potatoes thrive in warm areas and can be grown in temperate gardens after frost danger. Transplant slips with mud water through puddling, plant 12 to 15 inches apart on six inch high ridges three feet apart, and firm soil. Lift vines every two weeks, widen ridges as vines grow, and dig tubers when large enough or after early fall frost.
