A locomotive and two freight cars laden with whiskey were smashed and burned in Jersey City after a collision with an observation train. Load valued at 141000. In Philadelphia four oil laden freight cars fell from a bridge on the Junction road and a Reading Railroad train struck them, ignition set, destroying the engine and several cars. No injuries reported. Fire also raged in Cretta Ontario, destroying much of the town.
