The Tucumcari water pump station at Third and Main has a new coin operated machine replacing the old one installed in June 1978. It now accepts short bills up to $20 and continues 50 gallons per quarter. Robert Carr was among the first users for concrete mixing. Ranchers rely on the service for livestock water during droughts.
