Tucumcari City Manager Paula Chacon to retire end of 2024
Paula Chacon told department heads and the Quay County Sun she will retire on December 31 after 2 1/2 years as Tucumcari city manager. She plans to train an assistant city manager in the budget to take over and move the city forward. The city commission will meet Wednesday at 8 a.m. to discuss options. Chacon noted the need to address multiple problems in Tucumcari and said the decision was hers.
