Motorcycle Toy Run Bravely Brings Warmth To Foster Kids
Conchas Chapter 9 American Legion Riders and Logan Eagle Riders joined Follow the Sun Ministry to deliver about 1,000 toys and canned goods to the Children Youth and Families Dept for foster children. About 10 riders from each group participated despite 20 degree cold, with some using four wheels for heaters. Donations were gathered at the Tucumcari Elks Lodge, aided by Scooter Yocom who organized much of the effort.
