The 2014 Community Wellness Fair at the Quay County Convention Center features 25 health screenings including mammography, cholesterol and blood sugar tests, blood pressure and cancer checks. County approves first reading for Safety Net funding

Quay County Commissioners approve the first reading of an ordinance to send about 113000 in gross receipts tax funding to the Safety Net Care Pool, backing health care for the poor for the new fiscal year starting July 1. The second reading is set for April 28 in Logan Council Chambers.
