Supreme Court denies CYFD bid in Day murder case
The New Mexico Supreme Court refused to grant a hearing on a motion that would have added CYFD as a party and paused proceedings in the Tony Day murder case. Day, 15, is charged with first degree murder in the 2012 deaths of his adoptive mother Sue Day and sister Sherry Folts, with two trial phases planned including a potential amenability to treatment proceeding.
