Health council offers free Narcan training in Tucumcari
The Quay County Health Council hosts a 5 30 pm training at Tucumcari Middle School Library on April 9. The hour session covers overdose identification laws Narcan use and aftercare with free Narcan tests valued at 140 and free household lockboxes on a first come basis. A second program on April 10 at the San Jon Senior Center outlines QPR strategy for suicide prevention and crisis response amid high local death rates.
