FBI agent testified that a body camera captured the ambush of NMSP officer Justin Hare on I-40 near Tucumcari. The footage shows the shooter firing three times and fleeing the scene in Hare’s patrol vehicle before being dumped along the highway.

If convicted of the most serious charge he could face life in prison.
