The American Express company disclosed that bonds valued between 60,600 and 100,000 dollars were stolen from a Washington DC consignment, with local representatives confirming the loss in St. Louis.
The United Press reports Mrs Muriel Mac Swiney widow of Cork’s lord mayor, had a reception postponed after a wireless from the White Star liner Celtic said it would not reach quarantine at 5 p m Officials said the ship would dock at 10 a m tomorrow Mrs Ida Hyneman of Hazleton visited New York today.
Walter Woodring 19 and Edward Parkerson 20 are jailed in Evansville on murder suspicions linked to taxi driver Dennis Kuhen. Woodring identified by two men and a woman as one who helped sell Kuhen’s car in Vincennes. Parkerson reportedly claimed seeing Kuhen on the street the night of his disappearance.
In Vincennes police report, John Atloff of Johnson garage recalls a second man sitting in the automobile after the drive into the shop. He cannot confirm if the man entered with Woodring but notes the second man did not leave with him and later sought work. The description: short, heavy, without overcoat, while Woodring’s companion wore one.
Paul Hymans, president of the League of Nations assembly, sent a message to President Wilson in Washington following the president's acceptance to mediate between Armenian and Turkish governments. The White House received Hymans’s reply, seeking guidance on the proper avenue to approach the two conflicting governments.

Six masked men entered the Ridgeville state bank in Muncie Indiana at 10:50 am and forced the cashier and staff into the vault. They escaped in a large automobile with three sacks of money and Liberty bonds. The exact amount was not known.

Hopkins remained at the scene. funeral set for Saturday at 2 PM from 830 North Gibson Street with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
