The Blair Oil Syndicate brought in well No 1 on the Cato Powell farm west of the city, near a recently drilled Will Blair farm well. Indications yesterday suggested a strong producer. Local visitors included Mr and Mrs Ralph Stormont who were visiting Miss Katherine Burbank in Oakland City. Mrs Amanda Toole traveled to Lincoln to visit her daughter Mrs Sidney Allen and her son Fred Toole.
