Man Killed Near Grace On Highway
Cyrus Jensen 71 of Grace fatally injured Saturday near Grace while crossing highway to fetch mail. Car driven by Mark Andreasen slowed, but Roger Burton passing hit Jensen. Jensen died at Soda Springs. Inquest set Oct 7 in Soda Springs. Jensen born Aug 17, 1900 in Bench. survivors include widow Georgia, son Garth, granddaughter, brothers, and foster sisters. Funeral held in Grace with burial there. Caron Lowe named vice president of Vikadettes at Ricks College.

West Side Starts Kindergarten Plan Under Federal Works Act
West Side School District recipients of an Emergency Employment Act of 1971 grant will start a kindergarten in October 1971 for about half of the five year olds at Clifton and Weston.
