The Franklin County Sugar Co factory completes a 46 day beet run delivering the last 1953 crop. Company head Tom Heath says over 60 000 tons of beets were bought and about 165 000 bags of sugar will be produced. Final payments for 1952 beets arrive soon. Caroline Jensen Dies After Lingering Illness at 72
Caroline Marie Jorgensen Jensen 72 of Glencoe died at home Wednesday after a lingering illness. Born March 23, 1881 in Fyn Denmark, she married Ernest Jensen March 23 1902 in Denmark. They moved to the United States in 1907 living in Glencoe. Survivors: husband and six sons Albert Christian Eigil Raymond Viggo Jensen all of Glencoe and Bernard Jensen Preston. daughter Erna Rasmussen preceded in death. Funeral Saturday at 1 p m in Glencoe LDS ward chapel under Freeman Jepsen. Burial Preston City Cemetery.

Six Young People Injured In Treasureton Auto Mishap
Six Preston residents were injured when a car owned by Lyle Cole of Fairview and driven by Emma Jean S Bybee overturned several times on highway 34 near Treasureton at about 12 45 am Sunday. Ralph Gilbert fractured spine Carolyn Jepson punctured lung Emma Jean S Bybee in critical condition. The other three occupants Lyle Cole Floyd Jensen and La Rue Shrives sustained minor injuries. The car left the road and rolled over in a borrow pit pinning Gilbert under the vehicle. Sheriff Ray Talbot said the crash occurred on a curve near Treasureton.

Bonds for the new Franklin county hospital sold last Thursday for 60010 at an interest rate of 2.1 percent. The bonds were purchased by Coughlin & Co. of Denver and are to be amortized over a period of 10 years. There were five bids for the bonds.

Cyrus M. Robbins Oldest Dayton Man To Be Honored
Cyrus M. Robbins, Dayton's oldest man, will be honored on his 80th birthday with an open house at his home Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. Robbins moved to Dayton in 1918 from Stone, Idaho, after earlier living in Willard and Snowville Utah. He married Sarah Ellen Hurd in 1904. she died in 1920. They had nine children living: Lewis, Buhl, Cyrus, Irven, Leah Henderson, Dorothy Jensen, Muriel Seamons, Laura Elwood Hyde, Emma R. Friedl, Lola Moss, and Sarah Evelyn Robbins.
