Jack Phillips ASC Farm Foreman spoke at the Wheat Growers Annual meeting in the courthouse Montgomery Finchesy. He outlined 1966 wheat allotments based on a national 47.8 million acre cap with yields set to rise from past norms and a $1.25 national price support. The new bill allows substitution between wheat and feed grains for participating farmers, with cross-commodity requirements not mandated in 1966.

Service Held For Cun Shot Victim Osborn
Services were held Tuesday in Brigham City for Robert T. Osborn 32 who died after a hunting accident west of Preston. He was born November 5 1933 in Escalante Utah the son of Warren J and Ruby Twistchell Osborn. He graduated from Escalante High School and attended LDS Seminaries and Utah State University earning a degree in speech therapy. He did post graduate work at BYU and served a mission to Japan. He married Dorothy Ward on June 1 1962 in the Logan LDS Temple and at his death taught in the Box Elder School District.
