Two Local Fatalities Shock Lin County Roads
Two residents died in local accidents this week in Lin County as seven deaths in as many weeks raise concern. Thelma Westover, 15, of Swan Lake died after a crash 10 miles north of Preston on Highway 91. Nord Westover, injured, improved later, and his mother Thelma was treated for injuries. Harry Jensen, 54, of Mink Creek was killed while working in his yard on farm machinery. The Westover crash involved their son driving the family car into a slow moving truck with Alec and Mrs Swann driving the truck amid prior car trouble. The incident occurred near Banida. details noted as ongoing.

Mink Creek man dies in hayrack accident while repairing yard rack
Harry Jensen 54 lifelong Mink Creek resident died last Saturday in a farmyard accident when braces collapsed pinning him between a hayrack and its reach. Dr. Cutler found a skull fracture. Funeral held today in Mink Creek chapel. He was born Jan 26 1891 and survived by his widow Sarah Nelson two sons and four daughters, plus a brother and sister.

Three Franklin men traveling from Ogden to Plain City Utah with Mark Folkman of Plain City were injured when their car overturned four times after a tire blew out. County to receive state liquor profits share
