Change of Highway 91 at Arimo proposed by state engineers
State highway department engineers outlined a plan to bypass Arimo Idaho on U S Highway 91 and route traffic west of the present center through Virginia area. The new by pass would be about 9.84 miles with wider right of way up to 150 feet to accommodate four lane traffic. The proposed start near the Max Cohn ranch north of Arimo would bypass the village and rejoin the current road south of Virginia, eliminating two county roads along the new U S highway alignment.
