Dayton Boy Scout Abram Dalley Saves Friend Then Earns Heroism Honors
Abram Dalley, 12, of Dayton, earned heroism certificates after saving Monty Williams from Nash's pond where Williams went under. Dalley, trained swimmer, used life saving techniques learned in Boy Scouts of America to bring Williams to safety. The event led to recognitions from the Cache Valley council and a national court of honor citation.

DeLyle Condie, a Preston high school graduate in 1953, completed LDS seminary in 1952 where he engaged in music and sports. He attended the University of Utah for two years and played on the Ute varsity basketball team last season.
