Dayton residents and neighbors shared Christmas visits across towns including Lewiston Preston and Ogden. A large Dayton Linrose crowd attended the grade school Christmas play The Christmas Bazaar directed by Condie Archibald and Griffeth with many named participants.
Weston residents hosted guests from Preston Dayton Logan and Ogden with several family gatherings. Duane Lott returned on furlough from San Diego to his parents in Weston for 14 days. Clair Olsen, Pvt US, transferred to Fitzsimons hospital Denver for medical care after leaving Hill Air Base hospital.
Legal notice declares a January 3 1953 village election in Fairview Franklin County Idaho to decide disincorporation. Polls open 9 AM to 7 PM at the Fairview Ward Meeting House with judges J W Jensen Bertha Cole and Lorna Sharp. Village Clerk Oscar Rawlings signs the notice dated December 4 1952.
Delinquent water stock notices list numerous shareholders with amounts due from the Preston Whitney Irrigation Co and Bartholome Lemar Charles Ainscough to be sold at public auction January 3, 1953 in the Larson Building Room 11.
