The Preston High Indians face Malad in the opening round of the district tournament at Boratello High gym Friday February 29 at 630 pm. Coach Evan Sorenson’s high scoring quintet has beaten all entrants except Pocatello during the regular season and aims for a finals clash. The Indians then play winner of West Side High–Bispetentilt in game six at 930 pm Saturday March 1, with potential next rounds March 4 and a March 6 championship.

The Franklin county district Boy Scout roundtable met February 14 under the leadership of David E. Davis. Swanee Singers to Perform in Franklin Concert
The Swanee Singers a Salt Lake City male chorus will appear in Franklin Saturday at 8 p.m. under the Franklin Ward Elders Quorum sponsorship. Founded in 1914 in Salt Lake by Ernest R.
