Idaho Farm Prices Rise In January Across Most Groups
Idaho farmers reported an index 4 points above December 15 for January 15, with gains led by meat animals and feed crops up 9 and 8 points. Wheat and oats rose, barley up, alfalfa seed up 50 cents per bushel. hogs and beef cattle also advanced while wool declined 2 cents. Eggs and chicken prices fell. potatoes, beans, butterfat, and milk stayed unchanged.

An advertising oriented note compares Idaho printing charges this year with two years ago. Costs to the legislature rise sharply: 106 lots of letterheads and envelopes total 450.64 versus 311.55 previously. daily journal prints 4.20 per page vs 2.95. permanent journals 3.95 vs 1.95. calendars 435 for 250 copies daily versus 415 two years ago.
