Vea Evans was re elected president of the Franklin County Fish and Game Association at the annual election and banquet held Thursday in the county courthouse. An amendment to bylaws provides for officer elections for two year terms starting with the next election in February 1946. Two Franklin county men are listed killed in action in Europe with four others wounded and three previously wounded returned home. Pfc Clifton Wills 30 of Preston, part of the 17th Tank Battalion, was killed in Belgium January 22. His wife is notified. he left behind a daughter Diane and sisters Lora Perkins Velma Stowell and Evelyn Wills. Lt Richard Merrill, navigator of a B 24, is now listed as killed in action as of October 17 1944. Surviving are his parents and six siblings, with services arranged by Bishop Ernest Eberhard Jr. for February 25.
