The annual meeting of Twin Lakes Canal Company stockholders scheduled for February 4, 1952, was adjourned to February 25, 1952 with the same time and place. Secretary J. J. Sanford dated February 5, 1952.
The third in a series of parent education meetings was held at Central School Monday afternoon. Mrs Grace Gamble led the discussion assisted by Mrs Maxine Fisher and Miss Mary Norma Anderson. The topic Responsibility Scaled to Size explored gradual child independence and leadership potential. Shirlene Palmer played a piano piece and Nancy Greaves read as patriotic decorations framed the event.
Oxford residents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fisher visited Tuesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fisher. Alma Hatch and family from Logan spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hatch. Joe Anderson and family from Pocatello visited Monday and Tuesday with Mrs. Kate Anderson and Ada. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baker also appear in the social notices.
Local families visited friends and relatives in Downey and nearby towns, including birthday celebrations for Carla Cox, a hospital fundraiser by the Primary, and a wedding dance for Glen Baker. Visitors from Blackfoot and Weston joined community gatherings and ward activities as Oxford ward conference week begins.
