Teachers To Get Pay On Original Contract
Eastside School District will pay teachers the wages stated in their May contracts three months before the President’s wage freeze. Dr. Bowler reports some teachers did not start teaching when the freeze began, so the added pay will be made in nine equal installments this fiscal year. A Whitney LDS ward rep seeks a 100 by 330 foot parcel between the ward chapel and Whitney Elementary. the board may transfer or lease the land if owned by the church or not. The district aims to retain Whitney and Franklin Elementary.
