Christmas Musical Set By Rotarians in Preston

Preston Rotary chorus conducts its annual Christmas program on Wednesday December 15 at 8 pm in the Franklin Stake Center directed by Mrs Susie Tasso. The 50 member choir performs 14 selections with trumpet and violin solos by listed soloists and accompanists Enid Johnston and Edras Larson. Banida ward to stage Christmas program for Preston area children

Santa will visit the Preston High School gym on December 10 for a 1 PM Christmas show for children ages four to 22. Evelyn Carson wrote the original play directed by Karla Cattani with music by Peggy Christensen. Banida ward will borrow flats from the high school and decorate them. The event features dolls, toy soldiers, witches, the great pumpkin, tooth fairies, bears, and live gift packages. Doug Eggett organized delivery of more than 1100 stockings to Santa's storehouse with local girls aged three to sixteen assisting as part of a community service project.
