An official order fixes the 1946 terms for the Fifth Judicial District in Bannock Power Oneida Franklin Bear Lake Caribou counties. Terms begin at 10:00 a.m. on listed dates and are published for two consecutive weeks in each county newspaper. Dated December 6, 1945, by Senior Judge Isaac McDougall.
Alvin Harris named chairman of the Franklin County March of Dimes Appeal. The 1946 drive opens January 14 and closes January 31 with a full local committee listed and coin boxes to be placed countywide.
In spring 1945 about 1874 head of heifers were vaccinated for Bangs disease for 600 farmers in Franklin County by Dr J A Newhall with local veterinarians and neighborhood leaders. The program aims to vaccinate around 2500 head this season as county agent Roberts notes.
