Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Preston Third Ward for Albert Jenkins, a longtime Preston businessman who died last week at Paradise Valley Sanitarium in National City California. The service noted his early MIA work and LDS membership, his support of local baseball and county politics, and included solos by a ladies quartet and a burial at Preston Cemetery. Jenkins, born 1891 in Mountain Ash Wales, came to the United States at age ten with his aunt Mrs Sarah Evans and later married Zina Miller in 1917.
